Timo Nerkko has been an EPF Board member since March 2009 and was recently elected as EPF's new treasurer. He was the vice president of Ceapir (European Kidney Patients’ Federation) from 2007-2010. He has worked as a volunteer worker in different kidney and liver associations for 10 years in Finland and in Europe. His main interest is how children’s medical treatment is organised and the parents’ and the nearest relations’ possibilities to have a positive impact on medical care and its chances of succeeding.
