EPF is pleased to announce the organisation of a Seminar for patient leaders on eHealth. Over the last few years EPF has been participating in various eHealth projects and initiatives to gather a genuine patient perspective on eHealth and ensure that patient needs and expectations are thoroughly integrated in eHealth policies, strategies and services right from the onset. Time has now come for a thorough assessment of these findings through an inclusive dialogue with the wider patient community. This Seminar is an excellent opportunity to explore advances, and the ‘state of the art’ on patient involvement in eHealth at policy, strategic, and operational level and see how patients and patient organisations can become more involved in eHealth policies as well as in the design, implementation, and assessment of this innovative type of services. This event will also investigate the potential contribution of eHealth to patient empowerment and explore how eHealth affects patient health professional relationship, and the leadership and “connectivity” required to ensure that patients really benefit.
Patient leaders from across the EU wishing to become more engaged in the eHealth agenda at national and European level. Through this Seminar we are aiming to involve approximately 60 patient leaders.
Please note that one night accommodation, travel and subsistence costs will be covered by EPF.More information on registration to come soon; keep an eye on this page!
