Policy

EPF is active in a number of policy areas, monitoring new developments to ensure that the patient perspective is incorporated into the EU policy agenda; and developing and implementing campaign and advocacy strategies to positively influence the EU institutions.

We participate in the Commission’s consultations and provide input on a regular basis on key patient issues. We are an active partner with the European Commission and European Parliament, as well as the Council through the successive EU Presidencies.  We also work with other relevant bodies and forums, such as the European Medicines Agency and the EU Health Policy Forum (see “Cooperation and Partnership”).

This section presents a number of EPF’s key policy areas, but it is by no means a full representation of all our areas of work. To learn more about the policy issues presented here, please select from the left hand menu bar. For more information about EPF’s work around policy issues not included here, please contact the Secretariat.

For the latest updates on all EPF’s policy areas, please refer to the EPF Mailing.
