EUPATI Expert Training Course for Patients

The EUPATI Expert Training Course is a unique opportunity for patient advocates to receive expert-level training in medicines research and development, specifically tailored for them. The certificate course will be a mixture of online and face-to-face education modules over a 13-month period, beginning September 2014.

Launching this application process is a major milestone for the EUPATI project. EUPATI stands for 'European Patients Academy on Therapeutic Innovation' and aims to develop educational material, training courses and a public Internet library to educate patient representatives and the lay public about all processes involved in medicines development.

On the EUPATI website you will find a detailed "Guide for Applicants" describing the subjects covered in the course, the methodology and timelines, how to apply, application deadlines and how we choose participants. There is also a list of frequent questions & answers about the Training Course and the application form, which needs to be filled in completely by 20 April 2014.

We wish all of those applying the best of luck!
