Healthcare systems in Europe are very diverse and provide different services depending on the Member State. In recent times, the economic crisis has put much pressure on the national governments to re-think the model of healthcare delivery. The option taken was often the easy one, to cut into healthcare budget hence limiting the services provided to the patients and the citizens.
EPF works with its members and many partners to propose innovative ways of rethinking healthcare systems while safeguarding a high-level of patient safety and equitable access to high-quality, patient centred healthcare.
