EFGCP Annual Conference

When? 1-2 March 2016
Where? Crown Plaza Le Palace, Brussels, Belgium

What? Faster and Safer Paths to New Treatments: Bringing together the two worlds of pharmaceutical & device research to better serve public, patients & research participants.

Objective of the conference

The aim of the 2016 annual conference is to explore how medicines and devices can be developed speedily but safely for patient benefit on a sound evidence base within the current and changing regulatory European frameworks.

Background information

The European Forum for Good Clinical Practice (EFGCP) has a long and successful history, acting as a forum to bring patients, researchers, sponsors, competent authorities and ethics committees together to debate current topics. It is a forum for multi-stakeholder debate. This meeting is designed to help pharmaceuticals and devices research learn from each other’s histories, hear patient voices and understand this changing regulations.

The tangible outcomes will be an EFGCP report and recommendations that will be provided to those involved in the legislative process.
