Report from Gastein 2013's session on Patient Involvement

On 2-4 October 2013, the health policy community gathered in Austria for the 16th annual Gastein European Health Policy Forum (EHFG).  The focus was on how Europe can build resilient and innovative healthcare systems with the dramatic mark left on health, healthcare systems and therefore patients by the crisis.

On Friday 4 October, EPF organised a breakfast meeting on patient involvement. This session explored to what extent patients are engaging in the health policy decisions that affect them and how this engagement can be fostered to address the gaps across Europe.
