Liver Cancer Awareness Month

October is Liver Cancer Awareness Month (LCAM). Like every year, The European Liver Patients’ Association (ELPA) devotes the whole month to share the awareness, information, and important data regarding hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with its followers.

New Synergy under EPF Roof

Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE) and the European Liver Patients Association (ELPA) – both EPF’s members - signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement represents a formidable and active patient advocacy partnership that allows the two organisations to join their efforts behind bettering the outcomes and quality of life of patients across Europe.

    EPF is hosting the *Members Only* fourth webinar of our series focusing on Digital Health, with the topic “E-health and Telemedicine – What are we really talking about?”, on the 23rd of October at 3:00pm CEST.

  • CHRODIS+ Online Conference on Chronic Diseases

    CHRODIS PLUS will hold its closing online conference on 27 October 2020. This conference will illustrate the impact that CHRODIS PLUS has had on public health systems across EU member states over the past 3 years. It will focus on showing how the good practices, models and tools implemented by the project can be tailored to various national and local settings across Europe.

  • POLITICO Health Care Summit

    There has never been a stronger mandate for health within European institutions. From ensuring access to medicines and reducing vaccine skepticism to advancing e-health, the new Health Commission’s priorities are far-ranging and complex. The 5th edition of POLITICO’s Health Care Summit will convene news-makers and global thought leaders virtually to discuss the challenges that this new legislature is planning to or forced by events to undertake, obstacles that stand in their way as well as the potential ways to tackle them.
