Practical Information

The course will run from September 2025 until December 2025. The working language will be English.

It will be a blend of live virtual classes and self-learning materials with the possibility of a brief Q&A with EPF staff or external experts. The external experts will include a wide range of stakeholders involved in the AMR debate (European institutions, academics, AMR coalitions, experienced patient advocates).

Each module will be held via a live webinar and is expected to last 60-90 minutes. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Transfer and facilitate the uptake of their learning to local/disease specific patient communities;
  • Use their learning to engage in public awareness and advocacy actions in their respective countries;
  • Acquire awareness, knowledge and expertise on AMR and how to advocate for better stewardship, patient access to antimicrobials, and increased policy focus on AMR.

Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. All four modules need to be completed to obtain certification.

Registration is running until 18 July 2025. Enrol in the course here.
