EU-PFF - European Pumonary Fibrosis Federation

The European Pulmonary Fibrosis Federation (EU-PFF) works to improve the lives of those affected by pulmonary fibrosis, a lung disease that causes breathing difficulties. While their main focus is on pulmonary fibrosis, the federation also engages with wider European respiratory, rare disease, and healthcare issues. They collaborate with patient advocacy, regulatory, clinical, and policy groups, and are members of the EU Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Stakeholder Network. Formed by national organisations to give patients a stronger voice at the European level, EU-PFF holds European Medicines Agency status and is registered with the European Transparency Register. They work alongside groups like Eurordis and the European Lung Health Group to influence policy and improve care for patients. The federation aims to address broader health issues that impact the wider patient community while continuing to contribute to European-level healthcare improvements.
