Yann Heyer
Senior Policy Officer
Yann Heyer joined EPF in September 2023. In his role as Senior Policy Officer, he contributes to EPF’s policy and advocacy work, including providing timely policy information, formulating positions in consultation with members, and engaging with external stakeholders. His responsibilities also include representing EPF in institutional meetings, contributing to EU-funded projects, leading or contributing to the organisation of events and open webinars, and leading or contributing to the drafting of reports and other policy publications.
Since joining EPF, Yann has worked across a range of health policy areas, including antimicrobial resistance (AMR), EU health funding, health crisis preparedness and paediatrics. He currently focuses on digital health and artificial intelligence, as well as the EPF Barometer on the involvement of patient organisations in health policy across Europe.
Yann is Franco-German and holds a Franco-German degree from Sciences Po Lille and the University of Münster. Before joining EPF, he worked in the healthcare industry in Paris and Brussels.
